Jolie Cake Smash | Edinburgh Portrait Photographer

For those who have visited the studio you will have seen that I have this first image on a rather large canvas display.  I love it a lot.  It's one of my all time favourite images.  I don't think anyone can pass it without commenting on how beautiful they both are.

Jolie was a complete dream to work with.  She is like a little giggling doll with the most flawless skin I have ever seen.  She popped into the studio with her beautiful sister Cartier for her first birthday cake smash!  She was a little delight and those eye's just melted my little heart! 

We had the best fun!

Imogen | Edinburgh Portrait Photographer

I got to meet Imogen and her gorgeous family for a first birthday shoot in one of my favourite locations!    

The flowers were blooming, the sun was out and so were the smiles :)

We had a fun little tea party in the woods and even stopped for real tea and cake.

Eva | Country Dreaming | Edinburgh & Scottish Borders Photographer

Who remembers the gorgeous Eva from last year who had an utterly gorgeous first birthday tea party shoot..

She's 2 already!  And is even more gorgeous!

We had a lovely shoot on a quiet little farm, which is just on my doorstep. 

I've never booked a local shoot in before and I really loved it.  It was nice to be in the country and stop to appreciate where I live before I finally move to the city.  

I love the haze, the flowers, the horses.. the endless fields.  

I loved it so much I am doing something I've never done before.

I am opening my diary to country sessions.  

These will be limited to 1 per Sunday or Monday evenings for June & July only. 

These sessions are open to any age group {except newborns} and will have lots of little surprises too.

My First Day {Brand NEW First Day Sessions, Edinburgh}

Introducing..... My First Day Sessions!

We all look back at photographs from our first day at school and cringe, just a little bit.

Standing awkwardly at the school gate and smiling before going into our first class.

The same day we met our future best friends, the same ones we still hold close now, then coming home and telling our parents what we wanted to be when we were older.

It's one of the biggest days of your life!

Kailani & Tiago {Edinburgh Children's Photographer}

I got to meet these little beauties on my christmas trip to London.  I couldn't help myself and booked a few shoots in when I was 'having a break'.

So, meet Kailani Mya Rose & Tiago Joao!

Two of the most stunningly beautiful children I have ever met with manners to match.

We took a trip to Camden on the tube and had a lovely walk along the lock.

Tiago ADORES his little sister as you can tell & had her giggling all afternoon.

I had a lovely time and will might even make another working trip to London at the end of the summer :)

Arthur & Pheobe {Yarm}

I had a weekend in Yarm!  I wasn't only visiting friends I had a few shoots too.

I got to meet the lovely Marna From Little A Designs & her gorgeous family!

Aren't they gorgeous?! 

We got to have the shoot at Marna's friends house, which had the most stunning grounds and summer house that I could have happily lived in forever.  It was so cosy and the children snuggled in the cushions with teddies and books.

We had a lovely little walk in the field and it was one of the quickest sessions I think I've ever had...

These kids have done this before!

Zac {Edinburgh Child Photographer}

I got to photograph Zac last year on my Aberdeen trip.  He had just learnt to walk but he was fast!

This year, Zac and his lovely parents came to Edinburgh for a little winter session.

He is now 2 and is even faster!  

We took a little walk to the canal and had a fab time watching the boats coming in and out.

We jumped in puddles and we even got some smiles.

I had a lovely time seeing Zac again!  It's so nice to see them growing up...

I'm lucky I got a clean shot of this cake when I did!

There was NO stopping Ellie... she had her hands in the cake before mum had even sat her down!

We had a little pink floral cake and some pretty bunting...

We had a lot of time celebrating her first birthday.
